Hence there is no conventional or functional space, no typological cataloguing of the architecture of fairy tales as we might typically understand such a process (there is no “house in the woods,” no beautiful castle). Rather the story is reiterated as a formal, experiential facsimile of the spaces and experiences of the original tale, which have themselves been translated from the narrative of the initial story into allegorical space and now are re-translated back into pure form.
