Symposium: 4.9.2010 – 4.10.2010

The University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation is hosting the Schumacher Symposium: A Celebration of Life and Career. This two-day event is to memorialize Tom Schumacher's ideas, influence and unique and profound insights. The symposium brings together architects and scholars, many of them former students and colleagues of Tom's, to discuss themes of importance to him in areas where he made significant contributions to the discipline. The event will kick off with reflections of Tom and a Keynote Lecture by Michael Graves, FAIA, FAAR.
